I was on a beachy-themed roll lately, so I wanted this drawing to complement my portfolio. I wasn't planning on being adventurous with this piece. I wanted something like Vista, but by the water.

Overall, I have mixed feelings. On one hand, I love the way I did the water ripples in the background, and his face is quite handsome. I made it a point to give him asymmetric eyes, which worked out in giving him more of a 'rugged' character, perhaps. On the other hand, I thought the anatomy and rendering is a bit awkward.

Nonetheless, this is a decent drawing that's growing on me lately. I think it's okay, even if not perfect.
